How to prepare for the impact of the WLTP

Even in Corona times, WLTP remains a topical issue. As from January 2021, WLTP will be the only standard in Belgium. What effects will WLTP have on fleets in terms of CO2 levels and the full TCO budgets? How can companies start preparing?

Based on what we know today, Arval Consulting has calculated the expected impact of WLTP on business fleets in Belgium.

This analysis was carried out using data from the first quarter of 2020. We have taken a sample of diesel and petrol cars whose CO2 emissions are known accordancing to the NEDC 2 and WLTP standards. The sample was also divided into segments (small, medium, large and executive).
