Pool Management
When cars are passed on to new drivers, Arval's Pool Management service gives you the option of having the car collected, cleaned, stored and inspected. We then deliver the car to a driver appointed by you.
If you temporarily have a surplus car for which there is no new driver available, you can use our pool management services. We pick up the car from your location, make any necessary improvements and park it at a safe location at our partner.

The basic package, consisting of inspection, technical inspection, normal cleaning, refuelling on demand, etc., can be extended to include extra services such as tyre replacement, glass repair and storage.
Pool Management's advantages
Pool Management offers the following advantages:
- You will receive a car inspection report, which will indicate any damage to the car that has been identified. This prevents discussions with the current driver and the next driver. If required, repairs will be carried out.
- The new driver will always receive a clean and, if necessary, repaired car that is fully roadworthy.
- If the car is not immediately passed on to a new driver, we will store the car at a safe location.
- The cars will not take up space in your car park.
- The cars will be out of view of other personnel.
- You save time since Arval takes care of all of the practical matters.
Useful information
Arval uses preferred partners for carrying out maintenance and repairs. Arval's prior consent is required for all work carried out.
In order to deliver a clean and roadworthy car to the new driver while paying attention to costs, Arval recommends that all damages considered unacceptable should be repaired (according to Renta standards). Arval works with partners who, whenever they can, use the most advantageous repair techniques such as SMART repair, ...

Arval charges EUR 42,00 if tyres are changed (summer/winter tyre changes). If a tyre transfer is deemed necessary, a cost of EUR 63,00 will apply (taking into account a period of five working days).
If a vehicle needs an MOT, EUR 87,00 will be charged.

Extra cleaning will be carried out at your request or if Arval considers it necessary:
- Extra cleaning: EUR 25,00 / 15 min.
- Odor elimination treatment: EUR 130,00
All amounts are excluding VAT. Arval will settle these fees with the monthly lease invoice.
Time-Out
Are you in a position in which a driver has left the company or is no longer entitled to a lease vehicle, although you cannot yet transfer the vehicle to a new driver?
With our Time-Out solution, combined with Pool Management you can temporarily store a vehicle at Arval as it waits for a new driver. If desired, we can also fully prepare the vehicle for its new driver.
Rates of Time-Out are the same as those of Pool Management.
Time-Out's advantages
You receive a 35% discount on the lease price, including insurance and Perfecta but excluding fuel (20% on the lease price if insurance & Perfecta are excluded), on condition that the Time-Out period has a duration of at least 2 months and at most 6 months. The contract is extended in the period of immobility.
You receive an assessment report about the vehicle, which prevents possible arguments with the previous or next driver. If necessary the damages will be repaired.
On your request, Arval will prepare the vehicle for its next driver (spruce up the vehicle, repair possible damage, service vehicle if necessary, …). This way, the new driver always receives a clean and completely roadworthy vehicle.
